My Top Five Photos of 2014

Seeing Spots Photography is working on its top five photos of the year and encouraged other people to do the same. So here goes:

Sylvie-9 Resized

This picture of a dear friend’s daughter is my favorite picture from this year because I adore this child, but also because it is one of the best portraits I’ve ever captured.

france-9

Pointe du Hoc, France. I love this in spite of my ISO regrets (I wish I’d used a lower one).

JoeyMay2014

My (not so little) brother. All my favorite memories with him involve laughter.

My lucky shot of the Eiffel Tower (straight out of the camera - no editing).

My lucky shot of the Eiffel Tower (straight out of the camera – no editing).

I love this shot of the famous Eiffel Tower because the timing was serendipitous.

Harpa Reflected

Rainy days just make a photographer work harder. With my extremely brief visit to Reykjavik, Iceland, I didn’t have the luxury of waiting for perfect weather. So I focused on finding unusual and interesting reflections. I love this shot of Harpa reflected on the asphalt.
