Looking Back on 2015

I fell in love with new places like Moab, Utah. Although, Colorado, in particular stole pieces of my heart and will continue to beckon me.

I tried new things including snowshoeing in Park City, Utah, and mountain biking at Mountain Lake Resort in southern Virginia (one of the locations used to make the movie Dirty Dancing!)

I learned to do more with my camera thanks to Yellow Wood Guiding in Estes Park. Applying principles Jared taught me helped me tremendously when I was shooting fireworks over Antietam Battlefield on July 4th.

I made new friends and got to see old ones.

I also left some things unconquered and unexplored for future adventures. Pikes Peak: I’ll be back to see you. And someday I’ll climb the whole Manitou Incline and not just the first 500 steps.

2015 was an adventure. I can’t wait to see what 2016 has in store. Happy New Year, everyone!
